President's Message
The motto for my service to Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society for the years to come shall be to promote Sikhism and Education (Sikhi-te-Sikhya).
I feel that the educational system in the country has been facing hardships from the past several years due to lack of better facilities and opportunities for the youth to excel in their fields of interests. As a matter of fact, overall economic growth has remained disconnected from employment generation noting that young people continue to suffer from persistent unemployment and lack of quality job opportunities even after attaining best education.

A School like no other
Sri Guru Harkrishan Sen. Sec. Public School, Majhwind, Amritsar, a front runner in the chain of institutions is the first school in the region to be affiliated to CBSE. Founded in the name of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, the eighth guru of the Sikhs, the school was established in 1967 under the flagship of Chief Khalsa Diwan.

Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, Majhwind
Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, Majhwind-Gopalpura was established in 1998 on two acres of land under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society. Previously it was known by the name of Janta Public School.
Then the school has added many feathers to its cap with the sincere efforts of the founder Principal Ms. Pritam Kaur Khalsa. Members in charge S. Swinder Singh Kathunangal and S. Sukhdev Singh Mattewal. Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, Majhwind-Gopalpura was established in 1998 on two acres of land under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society.

“Education is one of the only tools that can make a student face the world”
The foundation of every country is its educated youth. If we wish to take our youth to the dignified path of righteousness the parents and teachers should walk hand in hand as young minds are equivalent to loose particles of sand that could move directionless but if arc provided and guided through education can be shaped into wonderful and creative minds. We have a multi-cultural student population.
As a parent and educationalists, we are to develop a new outlook, an optimistic perspective and a clear distinction between right and wrong in our students. So, our school has been trying its level best to provide quality education to our students through a versatile network of academics along with co-curricular activities and sports. We believe the education is a noble task and all involved in it must follow basic human ethics.
